Well-balanced family film

I took a school group to go see this film. We had kids in grades K-5. The movie was accessible to all students and teachers alike! There was a great balance between tense action scenes and comic relief. The characters were well-acted, clearly portrayed and consistent. The plot was simple enough to follow, but complicated enough to remain interesting. Good messages hidden within: just because someone is different doesn't make him bad or less of a person; sometimes girls can be the strongest people around; doing the right thing isn't always easy, but it's still worth doing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
