I got talked into this film by a friend..will never trust him to pick again. Why would anyone want to watch a pack of wolves chew up a group of mostly unlikeable humans, including the one who buries his grief by sharpshooting at wolves for a living in a godforsaken place to protect those unlikeable humans. I made it through the first attack complete with bloody footprints and then waited in the lobby. Can't belileve he made it through the whole film and liked it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

in a gorgeous performance Williams captures Monroe's combo of fragility and star quality while looking absolutely luminous. Her excellent portrayal is met by Branagh's star turn, Dench fab as ever and a nice job done by Redmayne. The film is beautifully shot especially the countryside scenes. I feel oscar nods in the future

Despite the somber backstory, THE DESCENDENTS is a lovely family tale of reconciliation and responsibility. Set against a backdrop of rolling surf, sunsets and ukeleles, it gives Clooney the opportunity to grow as a man rather than cavort in Las Vegas. He does a superior job, particularly in the silent moments when his dilemma is written all over his face and pain set in his eyes. Great debut for the rebellious teen daughter. First film I've LOVED all year. Payne does it again Bravo
Yes, I recommend this movie.

As a fan of Mr. Eastwood's I have seen all his films but this one was terminally boring. Could barely keep my eyes open. The storytelling seemed disjointed. In this case the flashbacks and forwards failed and a more direct approach would have been better.
I have never seen such bad makeup in a film. Surely the gorgeous young Hammer could have aged better. There was no movement in his face. AWFUL

Disregarding the controversy (did he or didn't he) ANONYMOUS is a well done film, beautifully photographed, well costumed and well plotted. Whether or not you are a conspiracy theorist, this was an enjoyable nite at the cinema. One must follow attentively because there is alot of flashback and forward. I thought Rhy Ifans did an excellent job of playing the man who MUST write.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
