I took my 8 year old granddaughter she loved it. I personally thought it was okay. The part that was gross was when Gargamel takes the hair ball from the mouth of the cat Azrael. Very stomach upsetting my granddaughter put her hands over her eyes and said ooh!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
