If you have any affection for Julia Child you must see this film. The Julia sections are brilliant period pieces, loving portrayals of a beloved larger-than-life character. The Julie sections show a character that has been a bit Ephron-ized from the one we see in Julie's book, one who is a worthy spiritual partner for Julia.
Two great husbands in this film too. Lucky ladies.
