Excellent movie

This qualifies as one of the best of the series. Picks right up where the last one left off, and has lots of action. Somewhat more gritty, due to the deaths of several of the well-known characters. It was a shame to see the series come to an end, but the finale was very well done.

It doesn't get any better

Once in a while, the Academy gets it right, and this was one of those times. It depended entirely on acting, not on special effects, and the acting was superb, to say the least. I agree with nearly everyone that Geoffrey Rush was equally deserving of an award for his excellent performance.

Lots of action, and liberally sprinkled with laughs. This film has something for nearly everyone. I especially liked John Malkovich's performance. I highly recommend this movie.

Superb performances by the actors, breathtaking effects; that says it all. Tim Burton scores again. Not particularly for young children, due to violence and disturbing scenes, but great for us grownups.

Better than we expected

The Internet movie trailer doesn't do this film justice, so there was much more to the story than we anticipated. The movie ran the gamut of emotions, and still managed a relatively happy ending. Cinematography was great, as were the actors' performances. An outstanding film.
