Too scary for 3.5yo

This was a very cute movie. I loved it, but we had to leave after an hour. The last 30 minutes were just too scary for my 3.5yo. She watches a lot of other disney movies, but I think it was just too much on the big screen. It's definitely PG...not G like we wrongly assumed. That's our fault for not looking at the rating before we went. My friend's 6yo cried through most of it because a woman dies early on in the movie and that made her really sad.
All that being said...it was a delightful movie for the grown-ups! :-)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
