I think the movie left out key points the book brought out. I'm a huge Twilight fan and have read the books through twice (parts more than twice). I think they should have spent more time on Jake's feelings and Edwards torture at seeing Bella waste away. I think that the rating should have been R due to the birth scene and Bella's blood drinking pre-transformation. I do not think they are books / movies for 13 and up - they should be 16 at the youngest.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
