The movie had it's moments. I laughed out loud a few times. I wish Samuel L. and the Rock were in it longer. I haven't found Will Ferrell to be all that funny in recent movies and he was o.k. in this one. Eva Mendes was hot, and the scenes with her were very funny. Worth the trip if you want a laugh without thinking too much.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Very disappointing. Some interesting filming of people committing suicide, thus the "R" rating. I am a big M. Night fan, but the film just went no where. Not even a sure answer as to what caused it or how Mark and his family avoid what affects everyone around them. A few attempts at humor were extremely lame. Maybe we have grown to expect too much from M. Night. Save it for a rental.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
