Sandra Bullock deserved the Oscar for this work! A great, uplifting film full of human situations resolved in a Christian way. Portrays a Christian woman as strong, and not a doormat as usually depicted!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

This is a disappointing movie...not a comedy, not a drama. We had a full house, due to the appearance of Meryl Streep, but she was wasted on a very pedestrian story. The ending was contrived, and the hotel scene left folks puzzling as to what happened. Not satisfactory story telling.

My husband and I took a friend to see this...what a delight! Acting was great! Hilarious parts! Surprise delight! Don't know why this wasn't more heavily promoted...it will become a classic! We're still laughing the next morning!
