Took my 8 year old to see this...he enjoyed it and I did as well. Had some sad parts but overall the story line was very nice. Makes one think differently about the forests and creatures that live in them. Beautiful scenes, lots of excitement and quite a few good funny moments.
Overall, a great movie for families!
Pros well paced

Took an 8 yr. old and a 23 yr. old to see this movie, both of them loved it! Great plot, the 3D effects were pretty impressive. Overall, the animation was great, plot was exciting enough to keep ones interest, even adults. Take the family, you won't regret it!

3D version was great! Felt like we were there, right in the story! No complaints about the story line....good moral to the story for sure. My 6 year old loved the movie, now the whole family wants to go! So we are going a second time!
