a fabulous movie. I have to agree with all! It was perhaos the most enertaining movie I've seen in years — and I see a lot of movies!
Meryl Streep was truly amazing as Julia Childs, and the intertwining of the two stories was a real leap of creative genius. I neve could have imagined it working this well, but the stories of 2 woman at such disparate times finding an outlet for their own creativity bound it all together. Finally its subtly, implied, message transcends the undeniable entertainment value it delivers. This is a knockout!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
