I knew the movie couldn't capture all the nuances of Edward and Bella's relationship but the movie was worse in that aspect than I anticipated. For instances, the acting when Edward and Bella first meet in biology class was awful! Utterly AWFUL! I actually laughed - and I shouldn't have - it should have been a tense scene. And what was with the funky music - I thought I was watching an art house movie. And the special effects - if you want to call them that -were awful an reminiscent of the 80'. E.g Edward in the sunlight. And they should have given us about 5 more minutes of Edward and Bella together talking and in love prior to James & co. strolling into town!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
