Savory curry for the silver set. A clutch of the best British actors, transported to Jaipur, assaulted by the sensory overload of contemporary India. Sustained by true wit, intelligent dialogue, and the exhilaration of trying your wings, we wonder if they stick with it? Sure, parts fray downward into the merely sentimental, but the main narrative rocks ahead and we leave smiling.
