I went to this movie with grown men who can talk about X-Men as if they were family. I have never seen any other X-Men film, nor have I read the comics.
I LOVED THIS FILM!!!!

1-True, the script was totally formula, but it was done so well, I didn't care. Effects were really good, but more than that, the character development and acting were top notch. I actually cared about the mutants and their story. "Mutant and Proud" was WAY too cheesy though.
2-why did the camera pan to the black mutant when someone asked the group, "you don't want to be a slave?" UGGHHH! really?
3-why did the black mutant die first?! UGGGGH! come on!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
