I've been a fan of the X-Men movies, but when franchises start doing prequels, I generally don't have high expectations. This movie was great by any standard though. The plot was interesting, the effects were amazing, and there were cameos and nods to the comic books for die hard X-Men fans. I just watched this last night and already want to see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
