Moore does an excellent job making an engaging, novel and compassionate recap of the current root dilemma. He shows great general knowledge and insight into an issue that is at the core of our values. There were several documented (filmed accounts of) facts that helped educate me. If your theater showing is nearly empty, it is not because of the quality of the film or the quality of the ideas, it is more likely because of the inability of the wealthier patrons to look in the mirror and change their behavior. Yet, we can all create the change needed. Walk or take the bus to the movie to avoid using more oil, denying profit to a gluttonous oil corporation, decrease a fat-cat bonus somewhere, and enjoy the evening air at the same time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
