Better than the trilogy

The movie easily does justice to the long running time and the director has managed to keep the audience on the edge of their seats almost throughout the movie. This prequel has more emphasis on the plot when compared to the trilogy and that is where the strength of the movie lies. The action sequences are nice too - especially the one where Erik pulls the submarine out of the ocean. Some scenes are really good - for example, there is a scene between Erik and Charles where Charles restores some of Erik's memories which he didn't know existed - really strong and touching scene. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and would recommend giving it a view.
