I enjoyed the story line of a team bonding experience to complete many tasks associated as a Google intern. At times the story was dry, but it would pick up once again with some humor. My teenager found it boring, yet as an adult, I enjoyed some of the lines about growing up in the 70's and 80's.
I would recommend seeing this movie but don't get your hopes up too high; it ranks up there with Hangover 3. Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson are pretty funny ... the other actors are pretty humorous too.
My teenager saw this movie twice ! Lots of cheering from other movie watchers too. Definitely see this movie if you enjoy car chasing, etc.. Nice surprise ending.
I was really lost in the first 20 minutes but it does comes together in the end. Too many chase scenes!!! Some what of a spy movie without much spy gear. There is lots of action but with the chase scenes, it got boring. The "R" rating is for the (bloody) violence with fist fighting, water boarding, shooting, stabing, etc..
I think the movie could have been a lot better with a little added humor and suspense. (After two-thirds of the movie, I saw at least 2 people look at their phones; I looked at my watch to see how much longer the movie was going to run.)
I recommend for 12 years old and order; younger kids will most likely not be able to follow the plot.
Liam Neeson's acting is very good in The Grey. Some gruesome scenes and basically what you can expect from being stranded in the wild. Yes, this movie is predictable. There are 2 endings to this movie, so stay for the 2nd ending after the end credits. However ... I really disliked the ending and you may feel the same way. I highly recommend that you see the movie but I would have changed (or added to) the ending.
Lots of action without all of the chase scenes. Typical drug smuggling movie with shooting, a little blood, some fist fighting and a lot of F-bombs. Some surprises throughout. Yeap! ... I recommend this movie ~ entertainment without "thinking" or needing a tissue to wipe the tears.
Great to view in IMAX; the sound is remarkable as it should be the increase in price. Good story line with a whole bunch of chase scenes and intense moments. Our evening showing was sold out !!!
Not what I expected but Matt Damon played the role extremely well as did the other actors. I thought there would be MORE information about how and what was done to open the zoo. The movie held my attention throughout with some humor, and it was totally clean of violence, language, and adult situations. I suggest this movie to those who are 12 and older as there isn't a lot of animals in this movie to hold the younger age group's attention. Also, the storyline plays a lot on the widow/mother which continued again and again to the point where I was hoping that Matt Damon's character would just move on. As a side note, I wouldn't watch it again on DVD as it isn't one of those movies that you watch again and again. One final note: bring lots of tissues for happy & sad moments through MOST of the movie. (The preview was for one night in selective theaters in Orlando, 12/10, and advertised in the local paper.)
High action movie featuring UFC/MMA fighting and plays out like a true story with family issues dealing with alcoholism, economic and war. The training parts are short, but I like the split screen feature. [The Rocky movies have much better music, and the training is more detailed.) Warrior is similiar to the 2010 movie, The Fighter, but this movie moves much faster. Disappointed in the ending which is left upon your imagination; would have liked the next chapter. Who will you cheer for? Will it be the war hero or the teacher?
Action! I highly recommend this movie; one of the better movies out at this time. Not too graphic. Very little foul language. Scientific studying with apes and medicine. I'm believe there will be a sequel.
