tHIS IS THE BEST USE OF THE STORY LINE. THE FILM DEFINITELY LEAVES YOU HANGING ON FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT OF THE FILM. The beginning of the book was covered in the lord of the rings trilogy as to how golum became who he is so there was no need to cover it again. I always felt that THE HOBBIT was the best book of the series and the fim definitely confirms this
