I went in hopeful, but came out with my expectations exceeded. I don't want to 'oversell' the film, but they did an excellant job.
To the naysayers who don't like that the scenes switch from Thor's home world to Earth, deal with it. It's part of the storyline WHICH IS THOR. Throughout the comic's history, he has always struggled between Earth and his duties on Asgard. I don't think the switching of realms hurts the story at all.
The script and acting is also well done. Very pleased!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
