This often funny, but fairly typical Allen movie with the women beautiful, interesting but unsophisticated being infatuated with Allen's over-educated, middle-aged nerds is autobiographical. How this young, vibrant girl could be in love with Larry David's grossly unattractive and annoyingly fatalistic character could only happen in Woody's dreams!
This movie was beautifully written, directed and executed. It is a look into another culture that is both breathtaking and appalling at the same time. Definitely not for the faint of heart or those who can't handle some pretty graphic violence. I will definitely see it again and recommend it to friends and family. A very timely movie given the situation in Mumbai!
