I had a great time and really enjoyed this movie. I saw it in 3-D and there were true 3-D effects to satisfy the eye. The storyline explained most of the pre-Dorothy and Wizard of Oz movie. The only thing missing was how did the main characters from the Wizard of Oz wind up as they were found. Other than that, it flowed well.
Pros great story, great actors, great colors and costumes
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I took my daughter and husband, we all enjoyed the movie. However, the 3-D effects were minimal and not really worth the paying extra money for it. You are fine just seeing it as a regular movie; the storyline and emotions are still there.
