No gimmicks, no sci-fi, no animation, no vampires, no ax-murderers...The film is everything I ever loved about the movies growing up: superbly acted, a story worth hearing, a heartfelt message, and a joy to behold. Even at a back-wrenching 2 hours, I wanted it to go on. And as someone has already noted, "SJ" stole the show.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
