The facts;
1. Unless you speak the language don't compare this film with the swedish version. You get nothing emotionally from a performance when your reading subtitles.
2. The story is really a pretty average mystery/thriller. It's not in the same league as Silence of the Lambs or Fincher's own Se7en.
3. David Fincher is a master at these kind of dark and edgy films. His direction elevates the film.
4. Ronney Mara OWNS the role of Lisbeth Salander. Her take on the character is powerful, vulnerable, flawed, perfect and sexy as hell.
5. Daniel Craig is a quality actor but here he seems weak when sharing the screen with Rooney Mara, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer or Stellan Skarsgard.

Mission Impossible Ghost Script

I actually thought this movie was a bit dissapointing. Calling the plot thin would be generous. There's nothing in the story that hasn't been done just as good if not better elswhere, including in earlier MI movies. The movie maintains a fast pace by moving from quickly from one action set piece to the next. Paula Patton and simon Pegg liven up the screen while Jeremy Renner does nothing. Cruise still has the action chops, hopefully in the future he can find better material.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Breaking Dawn suprised me

A much better movie than I anticipated given that Breaking Dawn is my least favorite book in the series and I'm not a big fan of Bill Condon's previous movies. Good pacing, elegant cinematography and improved acting by the big 3. I was actually dissapointed with the score. I though Carter Burwell did a great job on Twilight but he just seemed lost on Breaking Dawn.

Transformers:Dark of the Moon

The plot is straight-forward and relatively simple but what is lacks in depth it more than make up for with its amazing visual effects, jaw-dropping action, and the best 3D I've ever seen(better than Avatar). This movie also does a nice job of creating some moments of tension in the 3rd act. If you didn't like Transformers of Revenge of the Fallen you won't like Dark of the Moon either. A summer movie that delivers.
