This is one of the rarest of movies: One where great context/atmosphere (e.g.superior costumes, cinematography, & set/design) meets almost perfect across the board performances. Usually, even a great movie doesn't have both aspects - this one does. Additionally, Colin Firth's performance was stunning. I found myself growing in amazement, during the film, as it unfolded. This movie didn't need overbearing music, techno-effects or action to be great. It is just a well-done movie from root to canopy.
