If you are someone who truly enjoys children's movies from the 80's (any Henson production) you will fall in love with this film. It is hands down, one of the best films ever and definitely of this year. This film will not disappoint you. This is a film you will likely want to see again in theaters. It is a magical and heartfelt pièce de résistance.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The funniest part was the credits. SAD. Just thought that it did not have much substance to it.

Special effects were good, but the plot and acting left something to be desired. I was not impressed overall and would only consider seeing it again for the special effects. The actors were way too pretty an unbelievable as more intelligent beings. Zachary Quinto was probably the most believable out of all the characters and even that was a stretch. If you are looking for a popcorn flick then you will be delighted, otherwise, if you are a LOST or Trekkie...prepare for disappointment.
