I enjoyed it. It was very exciting. I enjoyed the story. There was one scene which made me upset because it kills off a very important character who is an entire episode of the original Star Trek. It won't mean anything to a non-Trekky, only to those who have watched the original series. Still, that really bugged me. That being said, it's a great ride and I do recommend it.

The film was entertaining in an avant garde sort of way. I personally didn't enjoy it much. The acting was very over the top and fake. What I really didn't like was the music. The use of current music such as Hip Hop and Electronica tended to bring me out of the film. I'd be absorbed one minute, then brought abruptly back into present day. It was very obtrusive. Now I was impressed with the quality of the musical score itself, especially the underscore and in the dance scenes I liked the fusion of Hip Hop and retro jazz, so I think that the Soundtrack will be great, but as for the film itself, I felt it jarring and out of place.

I loved every minute of it. This is one of the strongest Sci-Fi films made in a very long time. Great story with a nice twist. Great dialogue and strong performances, excellent action sequences. We had all ages from 11 to 50 and everyone had a great time. Go see it, you'll love it!
