great story and lack of engage

I think that overall the movie is not good, is too long and even though they try to convey the bigger message outside of the situation of being stock for days trying to survive, they could have find a way to do a better job. James Franco was great and he really play the role of a real claimer, but again I felt that they could have done something better with the script in order to engage people more through this real life experience. There are a few scenes that photographically speaking are very well done but even though I liked it I wasn’t fully satisfied.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Predictable but yet very enjoyable

Very predictable, but very enjoyable. I will take it out of the category of a “dumb chick flick”, I believe a guy could seat through this movie till the end. Portman is great in it, funny and believable. Kutcher is cute but his roles are to repetitive, it almost seems that the directors have put I’m in a position where he can’t get out, always doing the same things, it’s getting kind of boring and unattractive, I think he can do better than that.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

disappointed and disturb

I was very disappointed with this movie. The previews are fantastic and very engaging. The acting is phenomenal but the movie is too dark, I felt that looking at the big picture, the story of the character straggling to become a better dancer fades behind the madness of serious mental problems. I like dark movies but this one left a bitter taste that made me leave the theater pretty upset , without being able to appreciate the good acting and performances.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
