Excellent ensemble cast with superb portrayals of George V, Lionel, Edward VIII and even the prime ministers. For history buffs, it's a slice of the late 30s that most of us were not aware of. For those who just like a good film, this fits the bill - humor, pathos, warmth, good characters, and a well-written story. Glad we saw it. We certainly understand why it garnered so many Oscar nominations.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
