If you're ready to wake up and smell the coffee, then this is the movie you want to see. Yes, we've heard about it before and we've read about it in the papers, but seeing in the big screen the raw emotions of what happens when a person gets fired/laid off gives it more a sense of realism. And maybe that's what this movie was trying to do without ending on a real bad note (thank goodness, I really didn't want to get depressed watching a movie). Good acting was an added bonus. The selection of actors was excellent except maybe for Ben Affleck - he looks too clean cut to be fired from the job. But maybe that's the irony of the situation. There are no cookie cutter looks to today's economic collateral damage.
