Personally I disliked the book. I loved the movie. I was surprised that I enjoyed it so much. It did not follow the book as closely as the last few movies. It may be that the filmmakers will make up for lost storyline in the next movie since they divided the 7th book in two. The movie lacked depth in some areas but succeeded in being very dark as well as funny.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
