This movie was so engrossing, so moving, and so flawless in performances that it is difficult to know where to begin. The threads of love, loyalty, tenacity, and a delicious wit ran through all the major characters (Bertie, his wife and children, and Lionel) and created a tapestry more beautiful and grander than any individual performance. The unfolding of momentous world events during this time was made remarkably clear and personal. Do not miss this movie.
