I would've given this five stars, but I wasn't blown away or scared. I think it was well done and evoked memories of the old time horror films I used to watch as a kid. A lot of people would say they were scared and the audience with me was almost as entertaining as they screamed, and jumped but after awhile it appeared some folks seemed to take it as a chance to show off (their scared response) to the rest of the audience --jumping up and running out (taking turns) was a little tiresome. Audience participation notwithstanding, the movie was very good. Predictable, but very good --and a wonderful homage to the horror films of the past.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I actually enjoyed this movie. It was consistent in its timing and characters. I was leary due to the sequel aspect and it probably being the last in the series, but it was entertaining. Nothing outstanding just entertaining and I think it was a better choice than anything else running this past weekend. I know this doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement, but if you were thinking about seeing it, I'd recommend you do -just don't expect anything Earth shattering.

I was initially hesitant to see a 3D movie, but I should've known a Disney/Pixar 3D would not disappoint. It didn't. I loved the visuals, the story, and the characters. It's perfect for families, children, and even geeks like me.

Fastest 126 minutes EVER!!!

Non-stop action, characters just campy enough with the mannerisms from the originals. I was actually nervous a few times -that's SAYING something. I don't want to give away anything, but this movie works for longtime fans as well as those who know nothing about the series/franchise. Thanks for the ride, it was GREAT!!! Now it's going seem like an eternity while I wait for the sequel...
