The King's Speech

As a clinical speech pathologist, I was anxious to view this film. Seldom can anyone realistically portray a person who has disfluency issues. I was vastly impressed by the acting in this film. Colin Firth was able to make every viewer squirm in his seat as he acted his way through the difficulties that stuttering bestows on it's victims. The unorthadox treatment that this king undertook was amazingly similar to some used today. Excellent film indeed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
