Great movie, BUT....even if they didn't show a lot of blood and gore, the killing was excessive and brutal. There were instances when someone could have been knocked out, but were shot point blank in the head instead. The Joker's description of watching someone die is not a physically violent scene, but definitely not appropriate for a thirteen or fourteen year-old. I teach middle school, so I'm a pretty good judge. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS FILM APPROPRIATE FOR SMALL CHILDREN.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
