From a cinematography standpoint, this moving was extremely lacking until about 30-40 minutes in, too much "IN YOUR FACE SHAKY CAM TO SHOW IT'S REAL!" however once we start getting to where the main protagonists enter our field of view the shots become a bit more dull in their activity but more consistent in their showing of the atmosphere and pans of the world of Panem. Story wise, amazing, I enjoyed this story more so than Battle Royale in that I view this as a more believable turn of events for our future. Jennifer Lawrence with her uncertainty of her survival once she is chosen emotes quite a bit of emotion that you can feel through the screen. Lenny Kravitz is great as a fashionista and my gods, the beards, I can only wish to have one that amazing. Certain elements can really get move you as well. I wish we had the Hunger Games now as I would totally own.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
