This movie, I loved. Didn't think I'd love it as much as I did, but it makes for a great date movie. It's not a chick flick by any means, but it's a great period piece.
And yes, Geoffrey Rush steals every movie he is in, and it's great chemistry when Lionel Logue and the Duke of York (aka Bertie) is on screen together.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I'm not too familiar with movies about ballet. I think this is the movie to see multiple times to see everything that's going on and to see each character's motivations. But I had a great time watching this movie. It was a great mix of things that thrillers should be. Erotic, scary, thrilling, funny, sexy. I could have done without certain scenes that had MTV-style camera work, but other than that, it did the job to keep the viewer off guard.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
