This was a very good remake. As one who can quote from the original, I found it very close in dialogue and intent. I was disappointed in the ending, I really liked the original ending, sweet and poignant, yet open-ended.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This was a well-made movie with a positive message for all. Based on a true story, it is heart-warming, funny, and entertaining. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll love it! Sandra Bullock plays a Southern woman to a "T" and Kathy Bates is as enjoyable as ever!

Outstanding Movie!

This was a cute story, and also a little different than the standard fare. The animation was excellent, and the 3D added to the cuteness. The Hamster ROCKS! He stole the show as far as my family is concerned.
This is a good movie for a young family, but my family is all over the age of 20, and we'd go see it again!
