Since I am a John Wayne fan it is difficult to be objective and not compare this release to the original. But, overall a very good family movie, slow at times, but entertaining. The acting was far above today's average. Hailee Steinfold was outsanding, a real talented young actress.
I could done without the revised ending.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
