Don't let the PG-13 rating deter you from taking your kids at all! It is delightful, typical Disney fairy tale fluff, fine for all ages, although little, little kids might not follow the story - The movies opens with a lot of dialogue that might cause them to lose track.
Pleasant music, typical Disney villains and heroes, remarkable animation (this is not a Pixar film, but Pixar has REALLY raised the bar on animated films!), and not overly long. Cute, charming, and NO, I won't tell you how it ends!
