a nice, sanitized, feel-good movie

don't misunderstand me, I enjoyed the film. but cuing when the audience should cry, cheer, and all the rest by presaging applicable emotions with music gets a bit cloying. it would be nice if we could get a bit deeper into the characters, beyond what the House of Windsor would want us to know about David, George and the rest of them.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
