Good flick, but,,,,,,

This a good flick but why couldn't the producers / director's simply make up the young actor's to look old; makes no sense! The two set of actors look nothing alike (i.e. old Rose and young Rose in Titanic). It just makes the movie unbeliveable and disjointed.
And here's a prediction, at some point in her career, Jessica Chastain will win an Oscar - best young actress out there.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Well, I think my man, GSpelvin2
from Tarpon Springs FL, just about covered the bases on this one.
I too wanted to like this movie, but a weak script and make-shift scenes just never allowed that to happen.
I like Michael Clark Duncan, but his acting was not very good, (or perhaps he did the best he could with what he was given), and the way Morgan Simpson was presented as "Bailey" made it hard to watch. Between having whiskey, smokes and vomit in his beard, he was about as unattactive a character as I've ever seen; too bad, cause he's actually a good looking guy. AND WHAT WAS WITH THAT STUPID HAT!
Kiele Sanche as the love interest was the best thing in this movie; she actually made her lines believeable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It sucked. Lame, lame, lame. Never liked Seth Rogen before and this movie confirmed that opinon. It was so boring my wife and I just walked out after about an hour; we could see it just wasn't going to get any better. I was one of those movies that just make you feel embarrassed just wathing it. Save you money; don't see the movie or even rent it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

So just who are these people,,,,,,

who are giving this movie 4 and 5 stars? Have they never seen a really GOOD movie. Ron Howard and his buddy Brian Grazer just phoned this one in; perhaps they both owed Vince Vaughn a favor or maybe Opie just wanted to give his brother (Clint) and Dad another paying gig.
Don't waste you time or money on this one. It's a lot more DRAMA than comedy which made it uncomfortable to sit through; some folks were laughing at scenes that were really more serious; I suppose they just felt they needed to laugh at something / anything. Jennifer Connelly is hott; love those thick eyebrows.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

That's a wrap!!!!!!!
That's was what I was thinking as I sat in a packed movie theater Wednesday night with very little laughter. The stupid, very adult content made me feel sorry for the "families" who had come thinking this was going to be another cleaver, sharp-witted movie. This was not family entertainment.
I watch Robert DeNiro promote this movie on The Today Show and he appeared as if his heart was just not in it. Now, I know why. I'm sure the entire cast is embarrassed to be in this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
