Not trying to be more than it was

It was nice to see a super-hero movie that didn't try to be the second coming. It wasn't trying to blow the viewer away, it didn't go heavy on CGI (outside of "scrawnifying" Chris Evans), it just tried to be a simple, old-fashioned action movie -- kind of in keeping with the era it was set in. One small warning, however: The tune "Star-Spangled Man," which is performed during war bond rallies, is one of the deadliest earworms I've heard in a long time. The words don't stick, but, LORD, the melody lingers on -- and on, and on, and on!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
