entertaining for boys and girls

my 41/2 yr old son and I very much enjoyed this movie. It was fun, exciting, laugh-out-loud funny at times, and held his attention for most of the movie (which is not always easy). I agree that Mandy Moore was awesome for this; also agree with Tired Parent that there were just a few music/singing scenes that were too long for the little ones (they almost lost my son then). But that said, I still would highly recommend this movie for both genders and most any age group. Well-done Disney!
