This was a cute movie with some funny parts and a decent storyline. The music was also quite good. I would give this a 5 star from my 6-year old's perspective and about a 4 star from my own. There were certain parts that were a little too unbelievable. This revolved around secondary characters and the resolution. Of course I recognize as a kid's movie a lot more can be gotten away with and I do know my daughter enjoyed it a great deal and had no problem with any parts. My younger daughter, however, grew bored with it about half-way in. I have no doubt we wil purchase the DVD when it releases and that the older girl will watch it again and again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
