This is definitely not the best movie I have gone too but certainly not the worst. It was dumb and good at the same time. I thought there were some raunchy parts that I didn't find reasoning for and certainly do not believe they added to the movie. The hair and clothes weren't real depicting of the 1987 style as I remember it.
While I think Catherine Zeta-Jones is a great actress, I did not like her in this role. It is one of the few roles I think fit Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin. Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Paul Giamatti, Tom Cruise and Malin Akerman were good both artistically as well as musically.
The music was the phenomenal along with the vocal talent of all the actors. I would go again just to hear the music.
