Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, return to Narnia to meet up with King Caspian and the Dawn Treader ship. A great evil is growing in Narnia and the only way to defeat it is to assemble the 7 swords of the lords of Narnia on Aslans's table. All three seek out to banish the evil of Narnia as they make their way to Aslan's country at the end of the world. This is why Disney needs to take back the series. The 7 seven books to be made into movies is a tough one. But! It’s not meant to be in 3D. 3D IS AN EFFECT. Not for an adventure movie. It’s not the best movie out of this franchise but entertaining and I think for the Holidays a great movie to watch with the kids. Hard to find stuff to watch with the family these days but I think this is one you can watch and enjoy with the whole family. 3 out of 5 stars

The Equal pay act in BRITAIN was passed over 40 years ago. The law came about over a Ford Dagenham car plant in 1968. The woman at this plant went on strike tired of being skilled workers and receiving less pay then the men. Sally Hawkins played “Mrs. Rita O'Grady” who lead the woman to the creation of the Equal Pay Act which is still in law today in Great Britain. A law which changed equality for woman around the world for decades to come. Great Film. Tends to be just a little dry in the drama where a pinch of Hollywood could fix, but a great movie still. A NY ballet dancer who’s been at this ballet company for some time and then a position opens for her to possibly be in the lead role for Swan Lake. Nina played by (Natalie Portman) trying everything and anything to make her performance for the opening night to be nothing but perfect, she starts to lose reality a little and goes psycho at times. Seeing what’s not there, experiencing events that didn’t happen. Like the play, Nina looses herself to the dark side and with perfection she finishes the play perfectly. Not a Thriller movie, try horror film. The movie portrayed allot of what ballet dancers do to get ready for their performances. A little bit of the dark side on what lengths some dancers will go. Great dancing, but showed more about a Nina freaking out than about the Swan Lake. It’s like a horror slash thriller 4 stars out of 5
I’m trying to understand a outdoors guy who works in a sport/outdoor store goes up to the rocky canyons for a fun day. He takes a crappy knife, no hammer, doesn’t tell anyone, no cell/radio/gps, no flare, hardly any food, and he jumps into a crack of a mountain that’s only 3 feet wide. What is this a Homer Simpson outdoor trip? This guy is supposed to be a pro. He should have just gone to the 99cents store to buy his gear. James Franco played this role fantastically. But it is still an arrogant pro outdoor guy who poorly planned his trip and paid for it. Stories based on poor planning don’t get Oscar Nods. If you’re into an arm decap feel free to watch this film. WARNING IF YOUR SQUEAMISH ABOUT BLOOD DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. THE SCENE IS WHEN HE’S GOT NO ALTERNATIVE AND THAT PART KINDA SNEAKS UP QUICKLY SO KEEP AN EYE FOR IT. 3 stars out of 5
PLEASE DON’T WATCH THIS FILM IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR: A Script, Plot, Intelligent Story, or Oscar nomination material. This film is about entertaining and fun. I mean the Best Ninja clan coming from Japan to a ghost town with a ex-military Colonel with a disfigured face, plus his evil posse. What more do you want. Don’t analyze the movie. It’s impolite to dissect your dinner at the table. The best warrior of a ninja clan is defeated by Yang (Dong-gun Jang) of the other clan, making him the best warrior. Well it turns out the other guy had a daughter who was a few months old. Ordered to kill the entire clan, Yang decides not to take the life of the girl and he heads out west to meet an old friend. Yang’s Clan starts a search for him and the girl. Not knowing where he is they wait until they hear the dead souls from Yang’s sword when it is unsheathed. Fun film and time goes by fast. Cast: Dong-gun Jang - Kate Bosworth - Geoffrey Rush - Danny Huston - Tony Cox. 4 stars out of 5
A story about a talented fighter with a shaky start with family in some cases making wrong decisions and a half brother/trainer on crack, Micky Ward rises up to become Americas working class hero. The perfect exact role for Mark Wahlberg (Micky Ward). The adaption from the real story and the actors who portrayed them are incredibly very close. All movies similar in sense like, INVICTUS, BLIND SIDE, RAY, ETC, Have all been recognized for consideration by the OSCARS. This movie should be considered as well. Class movie, actors, and story. Privileged to see the sneak preview at the AFI 2010 FILM FESTIVAL. !!!A true story of a people’s fighter!!! 5 STARS out of 5 solid.
King George VI, had a stuttering problem since age 4. The King hated public speaking and after his speech at the British Empire Exhibition in 1925. Queen Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (The Queen Mother = Aug 4, 1900 – Mar 30, 2002 died) sought the help of Lionel Logue. Lionel an Australian speech therapist, worked with King George VI to improve his stuttering in private situations as well as public speaking events. Lionel helped King George at his coronation in May 12, 1937, helped the King to deliver his War Speech against Germany in 1939 and his Victory in Europe Speech in May 8, 1945 a tag team trio event. King George VI passed away in 1952 and Lionel died in 1953. TODAY King George VI’s daughter Queen Elizabeth II is our Queen today of the United Kingdom. Actors: Colin Firth - Geoffrey Rush - Helena Bonham Carter. Definitely worth of a OSCAR nod. Royals just don’t have friends who are outside the monarchy. Great friends that lasted till they both passed. Remarkable story 5 out of 5 stars
