Really, really good movie!!!

I thought it was fantastic what John Carpenter did with his version of the movie back in 1982. I had a lot of reservations seeing this movie thinking it was a remake of that movie. In my opinion, there’s no way to make the version Kurt Russell played in any better. That was fantastic in every way! However, this IS a prequel and connected SUPERBLY to John Carpenter’s version. Very, very smart what the writers did with this. It answered a lot of questions that opened in the John Carpenter version. I just can’t say how much I enjoyed this movie. Well done, John Campbell, Eric Heisserer, and Matthijs van Heijningen.

I agree with Redbeard from Kent, Wa. A really cool concept. Original, fun, I really enjoyed this movie. Very entertaining to watch.
