Absolutely hysterical

Best comedy I've seen in ages... Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis pretty much walk off with the movie as far as laughs (Bradley Cooper is good-- and very nice to look at!-- but ultimately is sort of the "straight man" of the crew), but there are some hilarious small supporting roles as well. Quite an abundance of T & A, choice language, and some surprisingly dark undertones, so this probably isn't for the kiddies or the faint of heart... but I would recommend this film to anyone with a halfway decent sense of humor. Loved it!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fantastic. Pixar can literally do no wrong. Equal parts hilarious and touching, crazy ridiculous and most decidedly human. Ed Asner is perfect as the grumpy old man, but I have to say that Dug (the dog) and Kevin (the bird) manage to steal the film between the two of them. Highly, highly recommended for... well, honestly I can't think of anyone I WOULDN'T recommend this absolutely beautiful movie to.

Lots of good action, but unfortunately short on fun. Christian Bale is in full-Batman mode, growling and scowling and being very intense... I love him, but the dude has to lighten up a bit! Sam Worthington is good (and very pretty), but needs to work a little on covering up that lovely Aussie accent of his. Bryce Dallas Howard... I don't generally have a problem with her as an actress, but I just didn't buy her in this role. She's just a little too perfectly made-up and styled for this post-apocalyptic world. Script is weak but serviceable for setting up action set pieces. Time travel stuff, as always, is convaluted at best. Strongest thing about the film for me was Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese, John Connor's past-future-father.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
