I really enjoyed this movie, as I have all previous Harry Potter movies. I've also read all of the books, so I'm writing this from the viewpoint of a fan. But I've been going to movies all of my life and I know a good movie from a mediocre or a bad one. This is a good one. The movie stays faithful to the book. The movie isn't as fast-paced in some places as earlier movies, but that's because of the way JK Rowling wrote it. The cinematography is great, as are the special effects. The characters are interesting and realistic (in a magical sort of way). You really get into the feelings of Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they struggle against incredible odds and incredible evil. Because of the loudness of the movie and some intense action scenes I wouldn't take a very young child to this movie. I give it four stars out of five.
